Christina Stead

Christina Stead (* 17. Juli 1902, Rockdale (Australien); † 31. März 1983, Sydney) war eine australische Schriftstellerin, die Anfang der 1930er Jahre die Salzburger Festspiele besucht und anschließend ihren Erzählzyklus "Salzburg Tales" verfasst hat, deren Rahmenhandlungen, die Salzburger Festspiele sowie dessen Publikum bilden.
