Im Februar 1934 wurde Standl in die [[Christian-Doppler-Klinik|Landesheilanstalt Lehen]] eingewiesen und von dort am [[21. Mai]] [[1941]] nach [[Schloss Hartheim]] überstellt. Das genaue Todesdatum ist nicht eruierbar.
