Berauftragt wurde er von Renate und Erwin Korbuly, den jetzigen Besitzern des Stegerhofes. Sie baten um den Schutz für die Familie mit den fünf Kindern. <br /> ==Beschreibung==<br /> Die Skulptur Jesus Christus als Guter Hirte steht im Thomataler Ortsteil Fegendorf beim Stegergut . Die Skulptur ist zwei Meter hoch und wurde in einen abgestorbenen Zirbenbaum geschnitzt.
